Minxolao

The survivors of a world few even knew existed, the Minxolao are the only known Beast Race capable of complex civilization, language, and relationships, as well as one of only a handful to escape the Lightless Abyss with their minds intact.   Though some live freely among the other races of Order, the vast majority remain trapped within Chiqian. The largest construct on Hylos, Chiqian is the Minxolao name for the vast, organic wall that encircles their society, hundreds of meters tall, ever-expanding, and utterly impenetrable.   Uniquely, the Minxolao are completely immune to the spread of the Naliscintillum, and hence possess no magic of their own. Instead, they have become great builders and engineers, constructing gorgeous cities and machines powered by great engines. The worship of their god focuses on evolution and scientific discovery, while fostering a strong dislike for conflict - not to say the Minxolao have completely lost their more ferocious aspects, though.
