Ferric Fox

Shown in the background of the illustration plate, the Ferric Fox is more a pest than a domestic animal. Wily and opportunistic, the fox views a giant stead as a convenient collection of potential meals, and will often cause trouble. They usually work alone, and will attempt to make off with a furnace lamb or other young creatures if they get a chance.
