Bamboo Deer

Slipping quietly through groves of Tower Bamboo in the lowland jungles of Brunivard, these tall, slim deer live out their lives. They browse the leaves of the bamboo, and their droppings nourish the bamboo groves in turn. Their striped hides and tall antlers help them blend visually into the groves, avoiding large predators. They are susceptible to smaller predators that approach unseen from the sides or behind, such as the Hard Viper. Bamboo deer will often browse in small groups, with each deer facing a different direction to keep watch.
