Session 18: Boll, Boar, Bull, and Bell Battle
General Summary
The party is prepped to board Bristlebelly.
The brig is right next to Bristlebelly's leg, as that is the least comfortable place to be when the boar is moving.
When the Chapel of Light arrives, it arrives from the northeast. When Bos Taurum arrives, it arrives from the southwest.

The party snuck up to the holding cells by climbing and flying under the armor of the boar. They snuck behind some guards, who were distracted by Visayan picking off the guards still on Gundrir Boll. They first found Uthwyk, and killed the three guards (gladiator stats), with Khashayar's peryton eating the heart of one in front of everyone. They flew Uthwyk to Gundrir Boll, and then flew under Bristlebelly, with Steps using the arrows as handholds, to the other side to rescue Stella and some of the engineers.
At the second brig, they cast silence to negate the sound of Kestrel breaking the hinges on the cage. They sent the prisoners to Johnny's team below, who got them back to the Boll and began firing up the city to make its escape. They quickly ascended to the top of Bristlebelly to save Vanderbiek, who was still in the tent. When they reached the top, Soaring Eagle was there to receive them, along with Owome. Soaring Eagle accused the party of being murderers, and of spoiling the reliable trade with Burrhenge, stating that his seer had seen them killing the city.
And so, the party began their fight against the two. After taking significant damage, Steps ran into the tent and duped the guards into going outside to fight the party. He met and released Vanderbiek, giving her a spear to defend herself.
Outside, the party focused on slaying Owome first, as she was chanting a ritual to summon the Chapel of Light. They were immediately concerned by how the grass seemed to be moving in sync with her chanting, and began their combat. Their priorities changed once again when they realized how deadly Soaring Eagle was. Visayan twice attempted to banish the chieftain, burning both of his legendary saves.
Around this same time, the Chapel of Light appeared and entered the fray. The party noticed the sun beginning to rise, despite it being the middle of the night.
The Chapel began hunting for the book, and caused a multitude of skeletal hands to reach up and trap Bristlebelly in place. It soon locked its terrible gaze upon Visayan, attempting to shoot him out of the sky with iron fence posts. Owome joined the aerial fight against Visayan and Khashayar, while Steps and Kestrel fought Soaring Eagle below. Finally, with his resistances burned, Steps landed a stunning strike against Soaring Eagle, paralyzing him.
With a thundering smash, that's when Bos Taurum joined the fight. Led by Master Moon, the golden bull charged against the boar, knocking it prone. As the city fell, Steps and Kestrel killed soaring eagle, and made their escape back to the Boll, looting some weapons along the way.
Owome landed a blow against Visayan, knocking him out of the sky. (Un)fortunately, the Chapel of Light was there to catch him as he fell. The imitation of Orthol Clemont came out, to finally claim the book. Khashayar swooped down, healing Visayan enough to get the aarakocra moving again. Just as Orthol was about to slay Visayan, a hail of sling stones and grappling hooks pelted the creature, driving him back as Johnny's crew came to the rescue. Bos Taurum had also turned its attention to the evil chapel, and began stomping through the roof. Frustrated, Clemont killed Johnny, saying “Let's make this... Hurt”. He then summoned the gravity well. Visayan struggled against the pull of the black hole, losing ground with every attempt. Khashayar once again came to his rescue, pulling him away with the peryton and escaping to Gundrir Boll. Bos Taurum flared his sun, badly burning the chapel and incinerating Owome. Its prize gone and outmatched, the Chapel of Light fled to the west, as Bristlebelly fled to the east. And with that, the first season ended, with the party bloodied but victorious.
