Professor Dunstan "Birch" Jollyflutter

Age- Unknown, rumors range from 50 to 100
Race- Gallus, Huden/Silkie
Eyes- Unknown, rumors range from blindness to rainbow eyes
Skin/Feathers- White with black streaks throughout his plummage. Claws and beak are black, including the skin under all the feathers.

Body Type/Build- Far taller than "he has any right to be" and often has to bend over to go through doorways. He will apologize for his actions, but often he will bend down to listen to smaller races because he is struggling to hear "at that distance". Additionally, he is very slim, that with his height makes the comparison to a birch tree very common. Its what caused some students to start calling him "Birch".
Appearance/Style- Clothing is simple and rather poor looking. He has been pulled aside more than once to "dress more professionall", but he dismisses it every time. His main response being that its impossible not to assume he is a Professor, so what's the problem? His outfits often get damaged or unusual accidents occur, so he makes it clear he much prefers to not wear "nice clothes".
Occupation/Talent- Professor of Transmutation

Personality- Professor Jollyflutter is truly fascinated that he is considered a "mysterious" figure when he considers himself to be rather straightforward and simple.  He speaks his mind, he speaks honestly, he believes he looks honest, and he has been a professor at the Avium for awhile.  His background isn't special or unqiue, he will openly speak of his family and his wife.  He will openly share info about his favorite spells, about how schooling, about past students he has taught.  But still, others assume there's "more to him".  He is starting to believe that students are just making assumptions about Transmutation.
Or perhaps its his habit of using Polymorph on students, staff, and vistors at seemingly random that has made others feel wary of him.  Professor Jollyflutter finds it rather funny though, so it doesn't seem likely that he'll stop anytime soon.
