Martial Arts Styles: MA041 Time Temple Style {Time}
Temple styles are taught to the divines and demi-divines tied to a given monastery. Temple styles are uniform across all monastic communities tied to a particular element. These styles are used in the service of defending a monastery as well as in tournaments, often by Monks who are not permitted to use Monkpalm in sport settings.
The Time-Elemental Monks developed a uniquely hard throwing style for their temples. Where most throwing-based arts are soft or hard/soft and rely on the opponent's initiative and momentum, Time Temple fighters aggressively reach out, grab, and toss their opponents. Weapons training focuses on either long weapons or dual weapons, in both cases used to put an opponent on the defensive while remaining untouchable. Time Temple teaches the rare ability of using weapons to perform the Hurl maneuver.
