Levelling: Sage-Mentalists Upon entering the Sage-Mentalist class, the sage rolls for Psionic ability (if they do not already possess it) at +5%. If they do not gain the ability at this point, they roll again upon entering level two at a further +5% bonus. This continues each level until they unlock their psionic pontential. "Natural Adepts"--those who successfully rolled for psionics upon character creation--add the abilities learned as a Sage-Mentalist to whatever they started with.
