The old world failed. In its wake, a new world of cyberware, corpo rule, and mercenaries has taken root. Our story is set in the world of Cyberpunk RED, against the backdrop of a futuristic Houston.
  This campaign drops your crew into that pressure cooker. You’ll run jobs against the backdrop of neon-lit skyscraper plazas, the hustle and bustle of underground tunnel markets, stage rooftop extractions from luxury towers, and navigate protests, private security, and the street-level consequences of unchecked corpo rule. You’ll experience heists that require social engineering, as much as gun play, clashes with privatized police, and moral choices about who will ultimately own the city.
  Once a city of sprawl and urban centers, Houston is now a vertical mass of glass, skybridges, tunnel markets, and privatized skyways, stitched over a landscape of bayous and sprawling mega highways. The Center, consisting of Downtown, the Theater District, Midtown, Montrose and the retooled tunnel web below, is where money, politics and ambition intersect. Mega corporations vote in tower boardrooms overlooking crowded neighborhoods. Private Aux units patrol the skyways, and public services only run when profit can be found. Looking down on the chaotic jungle of concrete is the orbital commerce and transit stations. Commerce hubs and launch logistics centers hum in the background noise of the city, and everything valuable trickles down like blood through veins from the city’s downtown arteries.
