Cozie Lane, a young girl who has no family, is in the town that is called Slate Hollow. As she moves there, she knows no one in the town. She meets two people who become friends something starts happening to Cozie Lane. She is homeless with no family that knows her, as she has been all alone for a couple of years. no schooling, just what she taught herself on the streets.   The illusion of the deaths that have been going on is true. The wonders are high on who is doing it and what is happening. The person who is doing the deaths has no clue that it is happening, and they are doing it. Cozie Lane meets a couple of people who are Elleri, Walker, and Nightley they are all homeless, and they become a found family. The group of friends begins to notice something that is happening to Cozie Lane and tells her about it, but she does not believe them at first. What will happen to her? Will she believe her group of friends? or will she be in denial of the whole situation?   In the town of Lumin Hollow, an investigation starts with the head investigation cop whose name is Murphy. What is going to happen when Murphy finds out about her murders that she does not remember?   The investigation is the highlight of the town of Lumin Hollow; everyone in the town is talking about it. Her friends hides her so she will not get caught they watch a close eye on her.   Is Murphy going to turn her in, or is he going to fall in love with her and protect her? What will happen to Cozie Lane? Will she be protected or will she be locked up? The longer the investigation is going on the more that Murphy tries to protect her and they start making housing somewhere in secret to be hidden. the longer of that these accidental deaths are happening, they start to investigate how and why she is killing people and not remembering.
