A mysterious chest is delivered to Ryder. Inside is a letter.   "Dear Ryder, I'm happy that we are continuing our correspondence. My time at the citadel has been rewarding. I have included the confectioneries I heard spoken from the spire under the grass. I look forward to hearing from you.   May you shine a light on the knowledge you seek? Daphix"   They are bringing it to Meridian's Gate , and a small crowd forms around the package. They begin to eat the cookies from the box. Then, they find a false bottom wrapped in green cloth. Below is a gate crystal and pendant.   They read the message carefully and grab a drift globe to cast a magical light on the parchment, revealing a hidden message. "Ryder, The spire in the box will take you to a village called Wakefield. It's west of the portal. Show and give them the pennant. That will know I sent you. Daphix"   They step through the portal onto a sandbar in the middle of an ocean. To the west is a shoreline. They begin trudging through the shin-high water towards it. Sharks swirl around them, and they have to dispatch them. Once scattered, they continue.   They find land and walk west. After passing an abandoned hut, they eventually make their way to a village, where a carriage of bloated horses starts. They then meet Oswald, and he explains his situation.   Yarbourgho came down and pillaged a talisman representing their nature deity. Oswald's hands are tied, but he asks for your help.
