SE04 : EP25 - Red Zone pt.12

Meeting back up in the library the party exchanges what they found. "we should stay on mission, if we have time we can come back for the wander archive." They all agree and head out to Zonot 7.   Getting direction from a Guard they take a transport down towards the Symic guildhall. As they travel a gaint plume of smoke billows into the air over the Blistercoils. Parathas asks a fellow traveler about the matter. They seem unsurprised and tells the group that it could be anything, Izzet experiments, the guard rounding up creatures, or who knows. They shift transports to descend further. Other types of vehicles sail down into the Zonot. The light above recedes to the rim, with the light level falling into gloom. Folk in wingsuits zip through the airs. Twisted bending trees flush with turquoise leaves, bearing strange fruits surround the plaza they arrive to. A building made of interlaced buttresses stands dominating the other end. Cascades of water edge the space. They que up to enter the main guildhall.   They end up in a wide room flanked by waterfalls. Rooms on high floors of thei atrium are labeled as laboratories. Sets of lifts rise through the various floors. A flustered man works the desk. Parathas inquires about their business. But thick hedge of bureaucracy rises up in there way. Various paperwork and requisitions from various departments. As Parathas mentions Zonot 52 the clerk reaches under and presses a button. Ryder notices this and questions what's wrong. But the question is answered by a dozen or so Symic guards arriving. "Please lay down your weapons and maintain order." As Parathas begisn to explain baseball sized orbs are thrown at each member of the party. On impact they burst into the iron bands that wrap around towards their backs. Bound they are carted off to a holding cell.   They fidget in the bonds, trying to measure of the situation. Soon a odd blue man with a sever look, high collar, and leather garments enters. "I am a Speaker Veleho. Who are you."   Paratahas tries to explain the situation in his forceful way. The Speaker's patience is exhausted he shoots a dark look at him, "I think I have heard quite enough from you. The rest of you explain it to me again." He waves a hand a circle of magical energy falls onto the group. A zone of truth. Ryder takes the lead explaining the connection between Zonot 52 and Stargazer." After finding their truthfulness satisfactory he dispels the zone and releases them from the bands.   They exchange info and get there bearing on what to pursuit. The speaker givens them so clues including a lead on Kranko's goblin gang that has known to work through Zonot 52, up in the blistercoils. After the exchange they are sent on their way.   They travel back to the upper city via platform pushed up by gyser. At the apex of the lift people begin leaping off onto a nearby landing. Ryder, Yith, and Cass jump off. But the two druids get caught flatfooted. They fall as the gyser ends its eruption. Leaf transforms into mouse and Parathas grabs him flying up on his wings. Daphix shifts into a bird. All three of them ending up back at the landing.   Sensing the need to take a break they adjourn to lunch. Ryder takes in their first taste of seafood. Afterward they decide to tackle the wandering archives at the library.   A vast floor opens up before them. Exiting the lift they wander into the dim the light that works its way through the many, many shelves. As they explore the asiles a mighty winds swirls through the room. Three hulking forms of air, projectiles, and parchment appear. A battle ensues.
