General Summary
Back in Horizon, Parathas presses his hand against the obelisk. A tone pitches upwards and he pulls his hand away. It is covered in white ash. After attempting to remove the ash, the room begins to tremble. Runes begin shifting on the obelisk to where Parathas had placed his hand. A hole forms where the runes have moved to. It seems to go further than the depth of the obelisk.
Alder gets stuck trying to recognize what the hole is.
Aleister tries pressing a bolt through the hole. It hits against surface. He places a finger through the hole. When he attempts to place a hand, his hand contorts. Aleister makes a recommendation for MoBahn to give it a try.
After realizing his hand won’t fit, he places his trunk inside and receives damage, which is halved by Elnari .
Elnari looks inside the hole and sees stars and space.
The hole is smooth. Parathas goes for a look. As he braces himself on the obelisk. His hand tenses up and a ring of vibrant teal lights up.
A voice emits into the groups ears, however it is Gynn who recognizes the voice of the Scrapyard.
“You have come to the reason for your ownership of this artifact. The Producer is an off shoot of us.” Say the Scrapyard. “One of you is connected to one of you through your portals. Am I right Parathas? We did anticipate you’d be the one. Your lineage has much strain amongst it.”
Parathas explains what the other group was doing in Ebberon, and what is happening with the group and the Producer. They begin to question how the Scrapyard knows Parathas. It explains the threads that connect the rings of the Meridians. It explains that for them to return, Parathas must go to the group. The Scrapyard wants to reintegrate the Producer into itself.
A discussion of how they can get the Producer back. The obelisk would be portables with Parathas to cast a Banishment spell.
The remainder of the Meridians are cautious about letting Parathas go. The Scrapyard is looking to use Parathas as a distraction so the group could escape.
The presence of the Scrapyard turns its full attention to Parathas. He squirms in his own skin. The Scrapyard apologizes for the trial of the Producer that may be ahead of him.
Allory clocks that Parathas is terrified by the past that he does know about.
To complete the exchange, Parathas must place his hand into the hole on the obelisk. Parathas begrudgingly begins to walk towards the obelisk. Aleister says he’ll take over the books if Parathas doesn’t come back. Rosella disagrees with that. Alder questions Parathas one more time. Parathas says there is no other choice, but he still looks back to see if anyone will stop him. Allory affirms his resolve and he disappears in a flash.
After ten seconds, 11 people show up back in the Oculus. Sentinel, Hogar, and the researchers appear beat up and close to dead. The remaining residents of the Oculus begin tending to the wounded.
Sentinel wants to know where the other group is. Allory and the Alder tell him even though they wish to tend to his worlds first.
Back in the Underdark, Orwin starts to prepare the Ceremony spell. An applause can be heard and the Producer is in a jovial mood. He approves of the final trial being done. He says there is a new guest and the research group has been returned.
The Prodcucer introduces Parathas as the special guest and begins preying on the group’s curiosity. He creates a door way leading back to the room of portals.
Orwin attempts to send a message to Parathas warning him of Daphix’s alignment change.
As they go through the doorway, the obelisk is adorned with a chained Parathas. A crack runs down his chest with light emitting from it.
The Producer is in unsure of how Parathas came to be here. The Producer says that he has stashed Parathas’ mind somewhere for the time being.
The group gets its first good look at Daphix. His eyes are opaque black.
The Producer questions who has been to war before. He says that he is excited to see what will happen especially as Daphix will fight his kin. Daphix snorts in brimming rage.
Enahkais says, “ We had to do one more trial…?” To which Kellasin responds, “Would you still like to be in the Underdark?”
Each of them get on a platform. Daphix telepaths Orwin that they’ll try his idea once he gets a chance.
The group is transported to a celestial ship. It lays down fire onto an unseen enemy. The members of the group have been transformed into celestials.
The group questions the new rules to the trial in front of them.
Enahkais’ other personalities have returned along with Duwalla.
The group, after conquering the celestial door, moves into the hallway as a Couatl hovers past them.
The group ask a grey Angel about the whereabouts of Parathas. The Angel suspects them of something’s because they do not know the answer to that question. The Angel dashes ahead of them and loses them. A few minutes later, a giant armored figure confronts the group. He matches the groups gaze and turns on his heel and leads the group further into the ship.
They are led to a room with another armored figure as the first stands at attention. An Angel with a shock of white hair stares down at the carnage below. “Who are you that you do not know who I am?” Parathas of this world stand before them.
The Parathas of this world shows arrogance to the group. He calls the group lesser beings.
He says he has waged wars for centuries. The Horizon Parathas can be seen strung up, unconscious with this Parathas. He questions the groups motives. He makes reference to the collateral damage of the cities that had to be destroyed. He gets angered at the situation and commands them to leave.
Kellasin fires a Guiding Bolt at on the Armored beings. The light produced disappears as Parathas slashes into Kellasin.
Kellasin says it would be an honor to fall while in service to the Platinum One. Parathas questions they actions.
Kellasin asks what Parathas believes them to be. Parathas questions their devotions.
Against parathas’ wishes, Ally asks what the council is. The guards attack Ally for her insubordination.
Parathas blinds the group. They lose there all there sight except for their normal forms and the chained up Parathas. Orwin fights against his restraints and Healing Words the subdued Parathas.
Commander Parathas begins to question the goings on, as the Producer appears questioning the what the group is doing.
Commander Parathas sees the Producer and commands his guards to attack. Their attacks have no effect as the Producer disappears.
Commander Parathas is beginning to question the situation until Daphix makes mention of the Demons. This causes Commander Parathas to revert back to his superior ways.
