The Isit empire, and all of their knowledge, is simply...gone.

The Isits took all of their knowledge and technology and hid underground. With the help of the Dwarves, they escaped to the Isle of Jonin, hiding under the mountains. Eventually, no one remembered the Isit, except the Dwarves and the Dragons.
