The Natural Way

The Natural Way. Or, sometimes, just "The Way". Ask 100 different Flatlanders what it is, and you'll get 100 slightly different answers. Each tribe, group, and family interpret The Natural Way through a lens of their own experienced and expectations. Overall, there are a few common points in this religious-like doctrine:

Live in harmony with nature whenever possible.
Respect the living creatures that call this planet home, human and otherwise.
Waste as little as possible, and only take what you require.
Never lose sight of your place in Nature's Plan, and avoid placing importance on your existance.
Honor Nature, and respect it's ambassador spirits with the proper rites, lest you feel their wraith.
