Super Void

In the Honarth RPG setting, players and game masters alike should be aware that the planet exists within a unique area of space known as the Great Barrier. This super void, located in the fringes of the galaxy, is characterized by a complete absence of celestial bodies such as asteroids, comets, and other space debris. This has significant implications for the setting, which will be discussed in this article.

The Great Barrier

The Great Barrier is the name of the super void, an area of space that is nearly empty of all matter, located in the fringes of the galaxy that Honarth exists in. It is a unique feature of the Honarth setting, and it serves to isolate the planet from the rest of the galaxy. The Great Barrier is the only thing that separates Honarth from the rest of the galaxy, and it is the reason why space travel is prohibited in the setting.

Implications

The Great Barrier has several implications for the Honarth RPG setting. Firstly, it means that there is no external threat of alien invasion, as there are no alien species capable of reaching the planet. This also means that there are no resources or technology available from outside the planet. Additionally, it means that there is no way to leave the planet, and the only way to travel within the planet is via the planet's surface. This isolation also means that the planet's ecosystem is unique and self-sustaining. Finally, it means that there is no way for players to leave the planet, making the setting a closed ecosystem.
