Obsidian Bloodline Sorceren

Obsidian Bloodline sorceren originate in what is now the nation of Neezeendikh, and the only other country where they are found in any siginifcant number is the neighboring country of Ashnill. Their patron diety is The Father of All Mountains, and their Homemarker is a series of caverns stretching deep underground, which has never been fully explored. While the villages surrouning the enterances to this cave system are almost entirely populated with sorceren, there are also a signigficant number to be found in the capital, the city of Betheedan, and one other costal city. As with all bloodlines, they have veins of discolored skin that mimics the apperance of the precious or semi-precious stone after which they're named, in this case obsidian, that spread accross their bodies. The veins originate just over the heart, and are relatively minor at birth, stretching no more than halfway to the collarbone and no more than halfway to the navel, while not spreading beyond the edge of the chest. The veins grow rapidly as energy is channled into them by their parents and other sorceren until they cover large swaths of the upper body, including the face. The sorceren grows in power as their veins become more prominant.   The Obsidan Bloodline sorceren channel power by healing other sorceren. They can heal any injury with a simple touch, which not only heals but transfers energy to expand the other sorceren's veins, making them more powerful. They can only heal injuries, not illnesses, and the healing onlt works on other sorceren. they cannot heal non-sorceren, and, more importantly, they cannot heal themselves. Because of this, Sorceren are taught from a young age to travel with others of their type to make sure that any injury can be easily taken care of, and to disregard physical caution.   Their other bloodline powers are mostly linked to light and darkness. They are able to manipulate areas of shadow to draw the eye away from themselves. They are also able to draw the shadows around themselves to create shade and negate the effects of full sunlight, even in utterly exposed areas. This is extremely useful in the height of summer, when relief from the heat is hard to find. They are also known to have mild precognative abilities.   This bloodline is one of the few with a roughly even split between men and women. They have a history of forming small tightknit polyamerous clusters and raising children jointly within those clusters. There is no standard make up of these clusters, which range from three to four individuals to as many as eight to ten spiraling out. These clusters often contain siblings, though direct incest is nearly unheard of and heavily censured.
