Ashnill

The country of Ashnill is located on the peninsuala off the southern part of the Eastern half of the main continent. It is just to the west of Neezeendikh, seperated by a mountain range, and shares a similarly arid climate, but it's mining of gems and easy access to trade with countries to the west offer a signifficant economic advantage. The country is the orgin of Heliodor Bloodline Sorceren, and maintains the only significant population, while also maintaining one of the mot diverse populations of sorceren in the world, with sorceren from many different bloodlines living within it's borders.   The main road leading across the country, leading roughly from north to south is called the Gem Road, which leads from the border town where agricultural goods are brought in from the Carnealian lands, goes through the capital of Issau and ends in the Port City of Ipperon, one of three major cities along the southern coast, the other two being Effilon, just to the north, and Fesserin to the south. An offshoot of the Gem road leads through the most easily traversible pass in the mountains that serve as the eastern border, accross said border into the city of Eesleev in Needeendikh.   Effilon is a common port of entry for ships from Videnthoarf and Vorpenthef, while Fesserin, the slightly larger of the two, is built on the delta of the Cossindar River. It mainly hosts river traffic, though it does occationally serve as a port for ships coming in by sea from the western islands. A number of trade caravans make their way along the coast, connecting the two cities, as well as all the towns in between to Ipperon, and therefore to the Gem Road.   The Capital city is called Issau and is in the western part of the country, on the banks of the Cossindat River, just before is splits, flowing both south, forming the western border of Ashnill, and southwest, where it flowed through other lands. The capital serves as a hub for connecting river trade with nations to the west with the trade routes that ran along the Gem Road.
