Televator

An incredibly rare remnant from the legendary and all but forgotten Sparfolk, the Televator is a magic item from the Elderdays that rages against and seeks the eradication of all things mechanical.   Televator cannot be attuned or controlled by any creature.   If any machine or construct is active within 120" of the Televator the following occurs on the initiative count of 20 of each subsequent round and impacts everything within 360":
  • All creatures with CR one or greater must make one DC 8 wisdom savings throws
  • On a success, nothing happens
  • If one creature fails, all creatures within 360" of the Televator (with CR equal to one or higher) take d10 magical bludgeoning damage (no savings throw) with all constructs and machines being "vulnerable" to damage dealt by the Televator (e.g. if immune to magical bludgeoning damage they are now resistant to magical bludgeoning damage)
  • For each additional round past the first that no creature fails, the savings throw increases by one and the magical bludgeoning damage increases by d10 to a maximum 12d10 damage
  • If Televator is activated it goes back to d10 damage and DC8 wisdom savings throw
  • Once activated the Televator will continue to be activated until there are no active machines or constructs within 360"
Televator has a move of 10".
"The house half the way
Fell empty with teeth
That split both his lips mark these words
One day this chalk outline will circle this city
Was he robbed of the asphalt
That cushioned his face?"
  "You should have seen
The curse that flew right by you
Page of concrete
Stained walks crutch in hobbled sway
Auto-da-fe
A capillary hint of red"
