Sparfolk Blueprint

A magic item from the Elderdays, Sparfolk Blueprint wants magic brought into existence so that it may continue to exist by drawing on the lifeforce of magicians.   A Sparfolk Blueprint cannot be attuned or controlled by any creature.   If any magician crafts a magic item within 60" of Sparfolk Blueprint, the creation cost is halved, the minimum level required is reduced by one, duration to craft is reduced by one third, material expenditure is reduced by one third and the effects of the magical item are increased by one quarter. Additionally, the magician accues the following effects:  
  1. If the magical item is common, the magician suffers one level of exhaustion for 2 long rests
  2. If the magical item is uncommon, the magician suffers two levels of exhaustion for 3 long rests (reduce to level 1 exhaustion after two LR)
  3. If the magical item is rare, the magician suffers three levels of exhaustion for 4 long rests (reduce to level 2 exhaustion after two LR, reduce to level 1 exhaustion after three LR)
  4. If the magical item is very rare, the magician suffers four levels of exhaustion for 5 long rests (reduce to level 3 exhaustion adter two LR, reduce to reduce to level 2 exhaustion after three LR, reduce to level 1 exhaustion after four LR)
  5. If the magical item is an artifact, the magician suffers five levels of exhaustion for 6 long rests (reduce to level 4 exhaustion after 2 LR, reduce to level 3 exhaustion adter three LR, reduce to level 2 exhaustion after four LR, reduce to level 1 exhaustion after five LR)
  6. For every additional occasion beyond the first taht a magician uses any Sparfolk Blueprint within one year, the exhaustion level increases by one
