- Members of the Admired Transcendentals live in all parts of Semudan society, including a few living in strictest secrecy in the mainstream religious orders.
- After many efforts to suppress the Transcendentalists failed, the Sovereign Host launched a widescale and long lasting campaign against them under the reign of the 1st Ruby Emperor of Redin Semudan. Scholars of the Great University estimate that more than 30,000 were killed in secret raids by the Sovereign Host against the Trascendentalists not counting the more than 50,000 killed in acts of indiscriminate street killings by people often wrongly accused, and the destruction of 3 fortified towns identified as strongholds for the movement. More than 20,000 people were killed in these towns.
- Outbreaks of violence against or instigated by the Transcendentalists have been common since the original suppression of the cult more than 100 years ago.
