The Sky
The sky over Korris is dominated by an immense field of matter that stretches from the eastern horizon to the west; splitting the sky in two. During the day, the Shroud, as it is known to the Negresti, is a matte black set against the blue of Korris's sky when it is visible above the clouds. As the sun travels in its path, it crosses behind the shroud, depending on the season, up to twice a day. The number and time between these 'eclipses' helps the people of Korris to determine the seasons and the passage of time. As the sun sets, the Shroud sparkles as specks of multicolored light start to twinkle among the black background until, at night, it shines with enough light to dimly illuminate the world below it.
Aside from the sun and the Shroud, the sky above Korris is empty but for a handful points of light that occasionally appear at night that slowly move through the sky with regular patterns over the course of the year.
Manifestation
The Sky is an empty black field at night except for the sparkling of the nightime shroud. Travelers from elsewhere in the multiverse would note the absence of any moons and the near total absence of stars from the night sky.
