Unknown Unknown (a.k.a. The Benefactor)
A strange being who has cause quite a bit of a stir in Neox. They manages to gather a team to infiltrate the labs and steal a top secret item, while also having a pair stop any attempt to disrupt the heist. The benefactor also somehow survived an attack that happened when they let their guard slip while running an operation in the Diosan ruins. It is unknown who or what The Benefactor was beneath the cloak. Currently, the main theory is that The Benefactor and Orcus are one and the same. But again, this is just speculation. One thing is known, they are planning on changing the world by taking out Neox.
Physical Description
Facial Features
The Benefactor's face has never been observed, besides for two glowing eyes. Although, wether or not these eyes are real or magical is up for debate.
Apparel & Accessories
The Benefactor is always seen sporting a hooded cloak, dark boots and gloves. They also had at one point several rings they wore on their left hand.
Specialized Equipment
The Benefactor's cloak had magic that obscured their face from everyone. However, the attack on the Church of Apollo saw the cloak being damaged, rendering the magic useless. Now, the Benefactor has been seen sporting a mask of Apollo, believed to have been part of the treasure obtained from the Diosan ruins.

Personal history
Not much is known about The Benefactor. They simply came to be one day, looking for people who would assist them in breaking into Neox Labs and retreiving an experimental piece of technology. From here, the status of the stolen technology is unknown. The Benefactor was not mentioned to have used it, although if they had, Neox publicly thought that. After a few months of seemingly vanishing from Hitorik, The Benefactor contacted their The Heist Team they had hired, this time to travel to Diosan and locate an ancient relic. Here, it was publicly believed that The Benefactor was killed when Astra Smirnoff led an assault of the Church of Apollo in retaliation for the heist on Neox Labs.
Education
Nothing is known of The Benefactor's formal education. But based on speculation, it is believed that they are well educated. Being able to both break into the labs and uncover lost relics with ease, it is suggested that The Benefactor could have even graduated from a perstigious school, led their own research team or even have been a military commander.
Employment
Aside from breaking into Neox Labs and Diosan Ruins, what The Benefactor does is unknown. Some believe he may have worked once at the Labs, but this is uncertain.
Accomplishments & Achievements
To date, The Benefactor is the only person to break into the Labs successfully, only person to steal technology from the Labs and onlt person to have survived an assault from the Labs.
Failures & Embarrassments
The biggest failure attributed to The Benefactor is the attack on the Church of Apollo.
Morality & Philosophy
The Benefactor seems to have a seeded hatred against Neox Labs. Their actions indicate that their main motive is destroying the Labs at any cost. However, it is worth noting that the Benefactor does follow through on any promises they make.

The Benefactor is known to speak directly into the mind of those they communicate with, in the voice of the person being spoken to. Recently, with the loss of the rings they once possessed, The Benefactor has been speaking in a low, gravely voice. Whether this is their true voice or not is still unknown.
