Durandal

  A legendary relic blade that has never dulled or been broken, Durandal’s true origins have been lost to time - but some among the chapter believe it to have been previously named the Carmine Blade.   The guard and pommel are of an onyx-black metallic color, with dark red leather encasing the grip. A unique, carmine-colored power field which engulfs the blade upon activation and contact.   None doubt the sanctity of this ancient weapon; it has been handed down through generations, wielded by the Emperor's chosen in hours of darkest plight and greatest need.
