Druids

A druid or roots-seer is any person of any humanoid species that is part of a druidic circle. Most druids believe in the god Eliwyn but some might worship Ninĝirsu who is the protector of animals and beasts of the The Material Plane and also their huntress.

The Circles

To be called druid, one must become and be accepted as a part of a circle. Each druid belongs to a circle that reflects their connection with nature. The circle of moonlight is one of hunting and connecting to the animal inside you. While circles of the land, ranging from grasslands to arctic lands, are connected to the environment they live in. For the fey druids, there is the circle of dreams while the circle of the shepherd connects to the spirits of animals and fey. Some other smaller circles exist, those of the spores, for example, are rare, as their beliefs contradict most of the druidic teaching. They choose unlife instead of the cycle of life and death.

Connection to Eliwyn

Eliwyn is the tree that giveth life to all races of the great church. But unlike other gods, it is not sentient. It is life and creation all onto itself, but it does so naturally. A druid will not seek answers from his god, as there will be none. A druid won't counsel with his god, but with his surroundings, nature itself will give a sign to the druid of what's to come. It is this peace of mind, and yet this fearful life a druid leads, as he has no one god to guild him on his journey.
