Molefolk
The Molefolk
In the deep of the Underdark not so far from the
surface are creatures digging with their sharp claws
sniffing with their noses to determine their targets
and knowing one day they will be ready to see the
upper world to become adventurers companions or
enemies. Of course I am not talking of gruesome
creatures nor I think they are harmless but the mole
folk is a race extraordinaire. They live underground in the
middle of the upper world and the Underdark connecting the
best of both. Some of them started their lifes different grown
in captivity or got adopted by travelling folk. So some molefolk
interpreted their animalistic surge of digging as in
digging of deep lore uncovering mysteries or as pretty handy
thieves.
Racial Traits
Ability Scores +2 to Strength +1 to either Wis or Int
Claws Their Claws count as a DEX or STR based nonproficient
weapon and they deal 1d4 damage plus either Dex
or STR mod damage.
Enhanced Senses (Blind but Cautious)
You are blind but have 25ft tremorsense Advantage on
perception checks with smell.
Speed On foot 30 feet If they decide to burrow as an bonus
action their underground movement is 40 feet and they gain a
+2 to AC while they are borrowed. But they stay visible by
producing a trail of dirt behind them. (Like Bugs Bunny in his
cartoons)
Age Moles reach adulthood after 10 years and live for 60
years.
Alignment They tend to be neutral good but some are
affected by magic and become greedy and evil.
Size Moles are 5 to 7 feet tall your size is medium.
Languages (talking with stones ?) You can speak and write
common and primordial.
