History
Founded by Linus Ashlo in 3490. Grown into a small trading company of good repute specializing in rare and hard-to-obtain goods. Passed down to Ronan Ashlo in 3530. Under Ronan's care, some small growth. Given to Benton Ashlo in 3560. Benton employed underhanded business tactics to drive the company's growth through the roof, until a manufactured conflict over Misklorian (salt) led to [The Salt war] and the company's downfall.
Disbandment
In order to drive up prices of Misklorian (salt) , Benton Ashlo fostered conflict between the goliaths and tritons of The Cauldron creating an artificial scarcity and also cementing himself as the only reliable provider of the precious medicine. Eventually, the goliaths and tritons tired of fighting each other and, recognizing Benton Ashlo as the common denominator, banded together and sought to overthrow him in what became known as The Salt War. Ashlo's forces were soundly defeated, and he escaped to parts unknown.
