Aldern Foxglove

The Sandpoint Sentinels come across Aldern Foxglove during the goblin attack on Sandpoint. They save him from a group of goblins set out to murder him amidst the mayhem. Unfortunately, they are not in time to save his dog Barrister. After the fight Aldern introduces himself and asks them to visit him in the Rusty Dragon Inn, where he is staying, where he promises to reward them handsomely.
Later that night they meet in the Rusty Dragon, Aldern hands the Sandpoint Sentinels all 30 silver pieces each. He is eager to learn more about their saviors and is generally friendly with them. It becomes apparent that Aldern knows Pious' Father, another nobleman from Magnimar. Aldern invites them for a boar hunt the following day. The noble tells them not to worry, Aldern will arrange everything, mounts included. After that, the night's events and the drinks get the better of Aldern Foxglove, begrudgingly he excuses himself for bed.
