Session IV: Making Friends. Report

The crew continue to sail into the unknown regions managing to get a good bearing on where they were using their star map. That is... until a storm hit. She was a heavy one, but not quite as frantic as the first.   A few crew members went overboard but were easily saved, Fozzle and Vivasse both took a bit of a beating. The storm passed with no loss of life. However the boat had been spun about and the crew had to make good on their navigation checks once again.   Vivasse, Promise, Leksha and Waverider spent some of the night's travelling drinking and enjoying one another's company. (This is where the Threesome occurred a la time skip)   After the storm the players were scoped out by a hunting party of Locathah, they left on their way, but after the ship had been travelling for a week were later rediscovered along with their tribe on a small set of standing rocks. and the surrounding waters.   After arguing about whether to raid them or speak to them peacefully, the fish folk had swum to the side of the boat and began a conversation telling them where the nearest "human" settlement was and that they were traders in fish and that they had a chest.   The players heard "Chest" after saying they had no interest trading with the crew, a few decided to stealth onto the island and try and sneakily find the chest.   Two of the crew, Leksha and Waverider failed the sneak and ended up splashing toward the tribe who defended their homes after telling them, they just wanted them to leave them alone. The crew decided to fight to take what they wanted. Meanwhile; Back on the ship   After having saved her life, Vivasse approaches the captain Surbiene in an attempt to get to know him better, when alone and now somewhat vulnerable, he seems to be the exact opposite of the reputation that has been cultivated around him, so pursued a conversation on whether they should go and help the crew on the island and some clumsy flirting. (A la Dragon Age - Surbiene will remember that) Vivasse has found out that Vontessa is not his wife, but still cannot determine the relationship between the two.
