The Behir of Heroda were crafted by Giants during The Shattering War using scales from the fallen dragon god Hasrai.
As a way to even the odds against them, the Giants created legions of these creatures. After the war, with their masters slumbering the Behir retreated deep into the mountains of the world.
Though they are wild and unpredictable, there are a rare few Trolls called "Scalesingers" who are able to control a Behir like the giants of old. Incredibly rare, these Trolls often become powerful leaders in their tribe.
