The Industrialized Druidic Order Annual Fertility Comencement

Usually shortened to the IDO-AFC
Every year the IDO gathers after the harvest to perform their once ritualistic, now industrialized method of field preparation. Several dozen druids follow guide markers placed on the ground indicating the location they must stand at to perform their "plant growth" enrichment spell. Each marker has been carefully measured to be exactly the right distance away from the other to optimize the amount of ground covered by each plant growth spell.   Over the course of a few days, a once infertile valley can be enriched to a new prairie for farming. Or in most cases, previously fertile ground is forced to provide back-to-back bumper crops, feeding several kingdoms, or entire regions.
Now, much like other burgeoning enterprises, they seek continual growth. Literal instead of figurative in this case, but growing is what the druids wish to provide.
This has also ascended into the realm of absurdity, where some desert realms have gone to extreme lengths to make use of the IDO-AFC, that their entire existence depends upon it. Thousands of people could starve and great upheaval could occur should the druids not make their annual pilgrimage to the less fortunate areas around the world. But as long as the price is right, they'll make their way.

History

What once started as a few lone druids enriching the soil has become an enterprise in industrial agriculture.
Several kings noticed the power of a single druid able to double crop output out of their fields, and what once was a ritual of hiring a single druid to perform this ritual to help ease the threat of famine has become a standardized event with guidelines and commercial contracts.
