The Imperial Academy
The Imperial Academy is Hell Proper's most prestigious higher earning institute. It is a neutral setting, located in the Imperial Province. Emperor Lucifer is the academy's primary patron and many of his consorts have been sourced from inside its halls.
Structure
The Imperial Academy is organized into four distinct schools: Arms, Arts, Civil Studies, and Natural Studies. On paperwork them are marked as ARM, ART, CIV, NAT. The College of Arms is primarily interested in refining military and martial techniques among their students. The College of the Arts is interested in aesthetic, cultural, visual, historic, and creative pursuits. The College of Civil Studies is interested in contractcraft, diplomacy, and rulership. The College of Natural Studies is interested in physics, metaphysics, biology, magic, engineering, and other scientific studies.
The Arms and Civil colleges have the largest population of students with demons favoring sending their heirs to study these topics. Only politically stable provinces usually send students to the College of Natural Studies and even then they only send those who show great promise in fields they value (medicine or runecraft being the main two). The College of Arts attracts those who want to produce educated children with the intent of marrying them off.
Assets
The Imperial Academy is made of several large connected buildings. They host multiple libraries and extensive archives and guarded vaults. Security at the academy is left to the Imperial Hounds, which protect it from danger and get involved in a violent crime happens inside the halls (particularly if there is a breaking of the student, faculty, or staff contracts).
