Three-Pronged Fork

This article is from a DEFUNCT version of Heliox Stardust, and is NON-CANON!

Calm down sir, it's nothing but a fork. There's no need to be afraid.
— Kingsboon operative
During the Crown Civil War, the three-pronged fork became a symbol for undercover Kingsboon operatives to signal their allegiance to one another.

A mockery

After Kingsboon's defeat, many would carry three-pronged forks with the two outer prongs bent or snapped off in order to mock their defeated enemies.

Those quotes are priceless. Lol I liked this one, as I always do when it comes your articles. It seems so creative, a simple fork being a symbol for what, I assume, was considered quite a menace.   My favorite bit is the inclusion of how some would mock kingsboon with forks that had their prongs broke. That's such a little detail but it adds some life to the symbolism. Nice touch there.

Thank you! This was the one I've struggled the most on so far honestly, it's not too high over the minimum words due to that.   The sidebar often squeezes out the best little details from me, so I have to be grateful for not having written this in a generic template!

I understand that entirely. I've had the same struggle. I got lucky with library cards XD all in all though I think it worked out great. It's a nice addition to the world.   Till next time! I've got quite a few if yours in my notifs!

This is so well done. It reminds me of the poem "For lack of a nail, a shoe was lost..." only with a fork!   The quotes are great and the bit about the mockery! I laughed out loud. Priceless.   Nicely done!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

Ahh, there are some little details here that are very close to the real world - ‘it’s just a joke!’ Love the use of the one-pronged fork for mockery too!

Thanks! Yeah it does unfortunately pull a bit from real-life experiences...

For struggling with this prompt, you did a fantastic job Time! It feels so strongly written and thought out. Including a section on how the symbol is seen in modern times is a brilliant idea!   I also really enjoyed the quotes, they injected some more great humour into the article :D
