Volkov Industries
Originally founded in 1987 to set up mining colonies on Mars as well as building an orbital shipbuilding platform there. They received a large financial backing from the group that would become the UEG. Volkov was one of the first companies to receive technology directly from the Wychmyr to aid in their set up. By 1988, they had two colonies that were mostly self-sufficient under the surface of the planet. In 2011, Volkov scientists created the first successful SynthOrg, a human being that is entirely grown from a DNA sample in a vat. They also had a process for implanting a control chip in the brain during the growth process. The next year they sent an expedition out and claimed the planet of Chernoglav as their own soverign territory.
In 2029, they attacked Aegis in an attempt to take the planet of Persephone from them. After almost two years of fighting a treaty was signed with all territory returning to it’s pre-war owners.
