TH-30 Corsair

Also called the Ocelot, this model was the first Corsair Mech that the Wychmyr presented to Humanity's as a gift of new technology and a show of trust when securing the cooperation of the Earth's various governments in 1985.   The first Human mercenaries that fought alongside the Wychmyr during The Great Wychmyr-Kharst War used TH-30s as much as the Wychmyr themselves did. It was not long before combat experience and reports back home to Earth led to the creation of many Corsairs of Human origin, the first of which was the M1 Sherman II.   In battle, the Wychmyr prefer to never stand still and always be on the offensive. They value maneuverability over strong armor. The TH-30 is fast. Most pilots do not have the reaction speed required to get the full benefits of the speed it offers. As a trade off, it cannot carry any significantly heavy weapons nor can it survive many direct hits. It's successor, the TZ-02 Corsair provides a significant step forward in survivability while maintaining the same speed.
