Anatomy

The anatomy of a werewolf is that the animal has four legs with an extended body and a tail. The face of a werewolf that has a extended snout and triangle ears with almond eyes that are glowing. Their paws are sharp with their claws curved. Their fur differs in color depending on the wolf.

Morphology

When transforming into a werewolf first the bones start breaking reshaping and reforming. While that is happening their eyes are changing colors to the yellow. The werewolf throat and vocal cords are tearing making them not able to speak just howl and bark. Their fingernails and toenails begin growing out to become paws with sharp claws. The spine will extend growing larger extending out becoming more hunched over.

Growth Rate & Stages

There are 7 stages of wolf development and growth.

The first growth rate is called the Neonatal period. In this stage of live is when they are just born to twelve days old. The wolf pups start off with having dark fur and they are unable to control their body temperature. They begin live without sight and start live being deaf. Their nose being small starting life with little to no sense of smell. The pup will feed from the mothers nipple five times a day for five minutes.

The second growth rate is called the Transitional period it starts at fourteen to twenty four days. Their eyes are open and blue around eleven to fifteen days but their sight is not fully developed. They begin to be more mobile as they begin to stand and walk at this stage. They now have a voice as they growl and whimpers, with squeaks and high pitch howling.

The third growth rate is called the Socializing period where they begin to roam around their home. The ears begin to raise and hearing improves around the twenty seven day mark. Around the thirty one day mark their ears become erect but the tips of the ears are still floppy. Their teeth are coming in slowly with their canine and premolar teeth are present. Their eyes and nose are getting more hair around them. Their high squeaky howls and barks are getting more strength.

The forth growth weight is Period of Rapid Growth. The pups begin growing faster and gain 1.3 pounds. Their milk teeth are no longer in their mouth as they get more grown up teeth. The winter fur becomes more dominate. The hunting starts with joining their mother while she hunts.

The fifth growth rate is the period of the slow growth. That is at twenty seven to fifty one weeks With the slow growth the female wolves will gain 07. pounds and the male wolves will gain .4 pounds. This growth rate includes the wolves to begin hunting and traveling actively.

The sixth growth rate is the sexual maturity that starts with skeletal growth and closes the cartridges. There are more dominant or submissive behaviors.

Ecology and Habitats

The habitat is found in the ecosystem and they are mostly found in the wilderness like grasslands, forest, woods.

The ecology of werewolves is controlling the prey population which means that the werewolves prey on animals like deer, elk, and moose as they are regulating the animal population. The wolves help with overgrazing. The wolves have an influence on the plant life by altering the behaviors of their prey and allowing the forests to regenerate.

Behaviour

Physical behaviors:

The wolf pack a large component of communication involves body language. The special behaviors and postures have evolved and as that evolves it helped with aggression between the wolf and their pack also the body language helps all of the wolves in the pack live a more relaxed life with their pack. The facial expressions of a wolves may show teeth to show who is more dominant and to erect the ears. The wolves tail positions will tell you what mood that the wolf is in show the wolves emotions.

Scenting behaviors:

If the wolves nose is in good condition they can smell something up to a mile away. Scents are used to mark the boundaries of their land, and to claim and defend their territory.

Vocal behaviors:

Wolves communication involves howls, whines, growls and barks. The wolves howl to assemble their pack to be all together. The howl is deep and smooth, with alpha wolves pitch is a lower pitch voice.

This species is not under protection and the measures for survival are to be hidden but to not just hide from the world but when some danger comes towards them the werewolves have to hide and act like they are fully humans.

The average weight depends of the sex. The males weight is 66-180 pounds and the females weight is 51-120 pounds.

The average length of wolves are three to five feet.
