Bonegaurde
Important Members
Guild master - Iusaaset
Once a renown mercenary leader in the realm of the Kingdom, now the guildmaster of the even more renown Bone Guard. The guard has always supplied the guild members with tattoos both unique to them and the guild for identification purposes, but after her arrival the guild began to use magic tattoos that allowed the conveyment of each others base emotions. This aids the guild mates in both day to day interactions and on large battlefields as high morale is contagious and when Iusaaset leads the charge morale is never low.
New member guide - Gael Ameanya-kellock
One of the most beloved members of the guild, Gael is unusual in the fact that she is half high elf. Her welcoming and sweet attitude has allowed her to hold high standing with all of the guild members. Her primary job is to manage the new members to the guild, both with their initial testing and starting quests. When she isn’t managing the new members she may act as one of the guild receptionists or greeter. One may also notice her doing any random odd job around the place.
Surgeon and Medical Researcher - Nimh the surgeon
In this guild, many of the members would be considered eccentric to the outside. Nimh is an exception. Not in the way that she is not eccentric but in the way that even to other guild members she is more so. The guild's personal surgeon and doctor is a recluse that welcomes the sickly and dying. Patching up all wounds with excitement when something unusual comes along. When working as a doctor at Boneguard unusual wounds are far from uncommon.
Guild Facilities
Guildhall
The largest and oldest building in the town. The entire building is made of the special ivory-like wood giving it the almost intimidating feeling of a bone fort. There are several regions of the guild hall. Some dormitories have been built over the years to house those in the guild that require them. A medical ward that is run exclusively by Nimh. The dueling arena. The main hall where guild requests are handled and processed.
Dueling Arena
All disputes in the guild are settled here in non-lethal combat. All weapons and armor are supplemented by the arena with some special exceptions. Any high ranking guild member present may referee the fight.
Guild Rules
Protect the people Observe the common laws of the city Take on a subjugation mission once every two months Try not to kill the beasts of the arenaInitiation
To join the guild two tests are required.First, a fight must be one in the dueling arena either alone or as a team. After completing the first test, adventurers will receive rights as initiates and be allowed to wander the halls of the guild.
The first test is fairly easy and GMs running them will use encounters appropriately balanced. The test will be used to make sure players understand the basics of combat.
Second, a simple quest must be accomplished. This quest is usually something simple like a subjugation quest to clear out some of the monsters in the surrounding areas. After completing the second test, full member status shall be awarded.
The second test is much more dangerous. As it will be delving into the wilds, random encounters may occur while hunting the specific monsters desired. This test will teach adventurers expectations of travel in the region.
Depending on the GM and party, a chaperone may be enlisted to prevent accidents and help guide players. This may be a higher level player of the GMs own character. Chaperones will be awarded for a job well done with both experience and credits.
Alternative: Take on a special guild request.Promotion
Once the appropriate level is fulfilled, RC points can be spent to request for a custom promotion quest.
This may take time for DMs to organize or simply to become available.
Demotion
Failure to adhere to guild tenets will result in demotion.
Breaking rules will not result in immediate strikes. If a PC or NPC reports the incident to Guild Administration, the PC in question will be called upon to explain their actions and punishments will be laid out at that point in time.
Demotion at the level of novice may result in removal from the guild.
Demotion works via a three strikes system. Strikes will reset on a demotion only.
If you have strikes before promotion they can carry into the next rank.
