You rejected my cries for help mother. Abandoned me to my grief. And now? Now when it suits you, this is when you choose to extend your aid? I take it not for me but for my men mother. They are of good heart and I would not have them meet you so soon. Fine. I take thee sword and name it Gram so all may know of it and the tale of Baldrs men.

Significance

Gram was created by Morrigan the goddess of death and given to her son Baldr while he was mortal. Baldr used the blade to fight his way through the abyss and protect his troop. After his death Morrigan reclaimed it and gave it to her Sigurd to wield. It was Gram that dealt the most vicious blows to Tiamat and said to be the only thing Tiamat truly fears.
