• army approaches:
• Olorin on white horse
• Berta, captain of the army; explained that they defeated the orc force that came to greet them w some casualties; asks about orc
• Jacob driving cart full of kegs; Magra runs to jump in next to him and say they should find a bush later
• Lyra: heals Aeldevan
• A stays w army to heal up and interrogate the orc if he wakes up
• RFMS bring cart, Kevin, & Nick to tunnels; dwarves cleared out the entrance where Dulrik emerged leading the prisoners; head to town w them in cart
• army goes to town; put orc in guard house (local dungeon jail) still unconscious & bound; A pulls off a toenail in honor of M; Lyra yells at him, stabilizes the orc, then tells A to go to bed
• Rest of HB and Jorvik make way to tavern; see A at a booth and Jacob situating barrels; eat before going to bed
• Magra/Jacob getting busy
• Feyre spooning Ru
• Aeldevan heads up leaving pool of blood in his seat, Skamos follows

Day 4 of Hammer's Fall

Late Morning

Unseasonably warm, no wind or precipitation; balmy with some humidity creeping in

• HB goes to local dungeon to interrogate
• Skamos charms the orc & finds out info w help of Ru & Aeldevan
• SA trying to rally rest of orcs in city to meet at grove; fooled others to think they're victims, so can't release him until night
• Vrazhura on way to grove w staff & pendant (wouldn't part w them willingly S really plays it dumb and says he only remembers the woman and a child
• as far as he knows, the staff is just a staff that can cast spells
• pendant is communication tool to Gruumsh
• the orcs know of HB and the party members
• when S asks if they have enough men, orc says, "We should have more than enough to complete the ritual"
• w all the cold iron they got from the town, should be able to summon Gruumsh in a matter of weeks
• doesn't know particulars of the ritual, closely guarded secret; only Zorgoth & Vrazhura had read from the book/communicated w Gruumsh directly, and have been issuing orders ever since
• won't outright answer where Zorgoth is - just follow Vrazhura
• grove location: travel 5 days west to foothills of the mountains; grove located just below tree line; just follow the wagon tracks
• he then says, "I can't wait to watch Everlit burn"
• Ru suggests we speak with Everlit's council as the people of Everlit could be unknowingly part of the ritual
