King Gargax (Skar-ner-im Gar-gax)
Skarnurim Gargax; with an orange beard and large helmet, he leads Reimog as king. Once an adventurer, he had slain many beasts, both with and without the assistance of others. He chose to give up on adventuring after nearly losing the love of his life, to which he instead used his knowledge from his travels to help the kingdom's higher officials. Before becoming a king, Gargax served as the head of the guard, oversaw weapon forging, acted as a court official, as well as tax collector with some titles being held at the same time. His work in multiple fields (many unlisted) allowed him to take the throne when the king died, as the court saw the king's son as weak and unfit to rule. Unlike Gargax, he had nowhere near the same experience that made Gargax a qualified man.
Despite his qualifications, his rule is hardly perfect, as the court system has slain many innocent lives in the name of not making mistakes. In the eyes of Gargax and the nobles, it is better to have an innocent man die if it means a guilty man cannot escape fate. There has been some considerations as to how to fix this problem, but none have lasted longer than a few months.
