Kilosway (Ke-low-sw-ay)

In Kilosway, the ratio of weapons to people is one of the highest. The amount of weapons made has decreased their cost for natives so much, not having a weapon at home is either a personal choice a sign of being a wastrel. Having a large amount of forges to the point some aren't even necessary, the kingdom acts as an exporter of weaponry for other kingdoms able to pay the inflated prices for outsiders. Despite being a larger price, the price is still a tad lower than normal prices for weapons in other kingdoms, leaving Kilosway to revel in the riches. The same can be said for their forging of armor pieces and lower end jewelry, though they do like to get outside help with higher end metals and gems. The forge industry thrives on the plentiful mines that cover the hills, harvesting whatever ores can be found in them. Few like to ask the question: when does the ore run out?
Kilosway is managed by multiple noble families in a feudal system, but all fall under King Vrijed, a man who has allegedly been born of a family who has blood ties to every current noble family. The validity of the claim is still being investigated by scribes and librarians, but the task has proven difficult with how many families there are and how they could all be linked to one man. That being said, there has been no evidence to prove otherwise yet, so his title is not debated as even if it wasn't true, he'd still be linked to a majority of the families. This is a common topic amongst the nobility, as well as their appreciation for the art of subterfuge in other kingdoms.
Criminals have an interesting track record in Kilosway, getting relatively few punishments for their actions if it ultimately did something that benefitted the kingdom. It takes truly heinous crimes to actually get the attention of authorities to step in and arrest the culprit. Even those criminals are usually just sent off to be dealt with in other kingdoms, where they usually reap some chaos that is more often than not unable to be traced back to Kilosway (though it's obvious most of the time).
