General Summary
The Trial
TOM Thaltor "The Lady's Wrath" has a quick trial in Hutop . The judge is a Larani church warrior. Thaltor was aquitted in the death of Blath Windriver, but found responsible for the unlawful death of Bardryn Lutgehr and ordered to pay the victim's family a weregild of 1000 GP. He and the party quickly gathered cash and immediately paid half of that, still owing 500 GP. Thaltor was stripped of all Larani rank and priveledge. After the trial the judge (a high ranking Larani church member) had an ex parte meeting with they party. He strongly suggested pursuing vigilante justice against cult activity brewing near Red Larch, hinting that Thaltor may be able to restore his Larani standing. The Armor
JEREMY Bosim received his plate mail early from the Felton, the blacksmith in Definance. The blacksmith received the plate mail in barter for the arachnid cloak that was traded in - don't worry the blacksmith made a fair profit in the exchange.Red Larch
The party headed to Red Larch. They checked in at the Swinging Sword. The owner, Kaylessa Irkell befriended them. She offered them 50 GP to investigate Lance Rock. At the Swinging Sword, they met Eardon a priest of the Siem faith. His hands were bloody. He said he killed two highwaymen while he was searching for two dwarven diplomats. The party headed to Lance Rock to investigate. They found a necromancer's cave with some undead (several in vaudeville costumes!). They defeated the undead and captured Oreioth, the necromancer. They learned Oreioth's boss's name (Salazaar Hornraven) and his location (Feathergale Spire). QUESTIONS FOR NEXT SESSION What to do with the captured Oreioth?
