Spirit of Water
The Hua Yan Spirit of Water is called upon by the Lao-Hua for guiding the people through periods of change, but also for those who travel the seas, rivers, and lakes of the land to have safe journeys. Emperors usually take on this spirit when crowned after long periods of devastating, heavy rain, after successful naval warfare, but also when their ambition will lead them towards exploration.
