Grey Dawn
Grey Dawn is an extremist independence movement in Gotmouth. It was formed in 752 after a blight plague struck the planet, causing massive food shortages. It's coup of The Wren duchy and attack on the rest of the Anatum kingdom is what began the Gotmouth Civil War.
Ideology
Grey Dawn generally is united in the concept that Gotmouth should be independent and ruled by independent kings rather than The Anatum Kingdom . However, the specifics of an independent Gotmouth are somewhat unclear. Some members believe that non-griffons should be forced to live elsewhere. Another faction believes that everyone should be forced to worship Whitetalon, the planet's local deity. Finally, some members think that the monarchy should be dissolved back into local tribes. Grey Dawn views Esperanto negatively, with many members believing they caused the blight.
