Common Language

Common is a magical language created by the Esperanto druids. It serves as the basis of communication for Esperanto's Universal Union. Common is unique for it's ability to be learned unreasonably quickly.  

Origins

    The origins of Common can be traced back to the ingenuity of the Esperanto druids. Drawing upon the ancient Druidic language, they crafted a new tongue that encapsulated their vision of universal unity. The intricate knowledge of Druidic formed the foundation for the creation of Common, which was designed to be easily accessible to those familiar with other languages.  

Magical Properties and Rapid Acquisition

  Common possesses unique magical properties that enable individuals to learn and speak the language swiftly. When exposed to Common on a regular basis, individuals who have a solid understanding of another language can achieve fluency within approximately three months.   This process can accelerate or decelerate depending on an individuals proximity to a node of Babel Tower. A city directly next to a Green Spire will be able to speak Common fluently after 5 hours of listening to it.
