Minotaur
The Bull men of the Brogthanian Islands, are some of the greatest sailors in all Hamanshiron, known for their bragging nature, their short temper and their drunken braying. They come from the Island of Ghalvorbak, which was part of the Great continent and has been the home of the Minotaur Queendom from as long as records have been kept. The Queens of the Minotaur have ruled from their home since the days of old and there have been 37 lines, the Thunderspeakers from whom the current Queen, Winkea, comes from have had six Queens lead the Minotaur people, she is known as calm, reasonable fair and Just, that is for a Minotaur, calm and reasonable not something one associates with Minotaur, fair and just yes, given the hot tempered nature of the bullpeople, she's calm and reasonable for a Minotaur, Humans would find her a little short tempered.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Minotaurs are between 7 and 8 feet tall, heavyset and muscular, some of them look more domestic bull like, some look like Yaks, others look more like Buffalo and Bison. They all have varying skintones like Terran Bovines.
Genetics and Reproduction
Minotaurs mate like other bovines, and have the same gestation period as humans, and normally have two to three children.
Growth Rate & Stages
Minotaur are born being able to walk but need to be taught everything else, they reach their adolescence in their early 20's and adulthood in their late 40's, they become middle aged at in their mid to late 70s, their old age in their 120's.
Ecology and Habitats
The Minotaur for the most part are found in the Brogthanian Islands or on ships sailing the six seas, though there are some Minotaur colonies in other parts of the world, the largest one in Entrania on Findallas, and in the city of Arkandia in Valantartia. The Islands they live on are lush and verdant, and the mountain ranges mines are in the hands of the locals rather than a Dwarven Kharad, as there were no Kharads in the area when they world split.

The Minotaur are herbivores and eat only plants, as their systems cannot digest meat.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
Minotaur actually use their dung for their own farming, the dung is held in troughs that are in the garden of every Minotaur family, and what isn't needed by the families own food production, is handed over to the government dung collector who pays them and takes it to a central place in the settlement and then it is sold to the farmers of the Islands that farm many crops, including tabac and wine grapes.

The Minotaur are great braggarts, and actually expect any new friends to do some bragging themselves, they get annoyed if you don't, also since they have a very short temper, just do a wee bit of bragging whenever you meet a Minotaur

Minotaurs when they are on their own ships or out of the view of foreigners go naked, wearing only boots or sandals, only the warriors wear armour when they aren't in plain view of other species, the don't have an atypical shame issue, they only ever wear clothes to make their non-Minotaur friends and trading partners comfortable.

Minotaur love to celebrate life, they love getting drunk, telling tales and making kids, they also love sailing and love sailing dangerous waters, and fighting evil beings. They love doing all of these things in combinations of two or more.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Minotaur shake your hand the first time they meet you, and if they decide they like you, everytime thereafter which it has been a while since they have seen you they will embrace you in a hug, for most beings it's a bit of a crushing thing but it shows they consider you a friend, there are many a tale of new friends of Minotaur being scooped up without knowing what is going on thinking they are being attacked, only to find it is their bullheaded friend hoisting them in the air.

Minotaur have very few taboos, they just don't like evil, most people from Terra associate them with the Minotaur of ancient Greece who was pretty gnarly but they themselves not a fan of the bad guy, anyone in their society that shows any sign of falling to the Dark is banished, to Aghalis, to die no food, no water, Aghalis is basically a wasteland of an island with no edible plants for the Minotaur so is where they send all of their criminals sentenced to die. There are the occasional escapee but it's very rare

Minotaur Myths and Legends are for the most part brags that got out of hand, were conflated with every telling until they became epics and tales of daring.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Minotaurs get on well with Humans, Dwarves and Halflings better than almost everyone else, mostly because all four races have age very similar drinking culture, they find the Elves and the Elfkuun too serious and not great drinking partners, they find the rigidity of the Valkani unnerving, all the rest of the Light races they get on with to some extent. Evil races forget about it, they don't like unless the member of the race has demonstrated they have risen out of the Dark into the Light, then they will get a drink with them and swap tales.
