Legacy

Jynulian's arguements persuaded many to change their rhetoric but failed to prevent the wars he wrote against. While ecclesiastics exhausted themselves debating his theological positions, their influence wavered in the leadership of their institutions. Without pause, the kingdoms swooped in to reshape the religions to their purposes, absorbing them for political gain. Assuaging the followers that their rule would bring clarity and certianty, each kingdom in turn twisted the beliefs to justify the extermination of the other races that believed differenty. Thus began the Purge of the Trine as the kingdoms warred to establish their race as the dominant in the pennisula.   The bloodshed of the Purge paired with the marred theology of the times led many to seek reform within the religions of the Divine Quinternion. From this renewel came rediscovery of Jynulian's writings and incorporation of his ideas into the canon of the certian religions. What would become modern Aluism along with many sects of Ezenglism reformed their beliefs in light of Jynulian's writings.   In the current age, Jynulian has gained the epithet of "the wise" as theologians and scholars alike have studied the influence of his religious and secular writings across the many years of his life. During the Siege of Ishkana, a cache of his writings, previously unknown, were unearthed at his old residence, sparking a new interest in the wizard's ideaology. Many of the ideas expound upon those explored in this treatise, though this piece of writing remains his most well known and influential.
