I have looked across the Trine and seen nothing but pride and hatred, enflamed by foolish men who misunderstand their place in this world. They have asked me, unreasonably assuming that I would endorse their dangerous ideas, which lineage of the Prosaics is the most holy in the eyes of the Quinternion? Through the thin veil, I see the violence behind this question and seek to deconstruct the many flaws of the question and provide, not a conclusive answer for which there are very few in life, but rather prompt the right thinking necessary to ask the correct questions.
Those who seek to elevate themselves above others forget their place. In asking "Which race is seen as more holy?" the foolish man presumes a level of holiness that can be seen at all. I remind you that we humans--along with the Varath, Elves, Swarmlings, and Those of the Mountains--are creations of Fracturing Father, the Great Chaos Which Break; our heritage is enmity with the divine, and should Qor decide to annihilate us, he would be well within his rights. Nothing of our own brought us to the haven of Halor, only the divine intervention of the Quinternion, operating on the mandate of Qor, gave us the wonderful opportunity to be saved from the utter destruction of the Ending of Endings. Thus, any effort, any striving for obedience and virtue by following the mandates of the divine, amounts to nothing in the eyes of the Gods. Though it has been said "The holy shall see the light of eternity" this holiness is that which is bestowed upon of by the Quinternion, not a byproduct of one's life. So miniscule is our contribution compared to their holy works, that, though beneficial for the maturity of the believer, it confers no salvific effect.
Should we then, in our pitifully equivalent unholiness cast away hope and defy the mandates with which we were raised? Not so! Few creations of The Fracturing Father were redeemed; as one, we carry a unique holiness that differentiates us from other creations. For regardless of our hopeless estate before under the domain of Usos, we were chosen, not randomly or rashly, but with the intent for each race to fulfill the purposes given to them according to their character. Each race preserves this special holiness in fulfilling his purpose according to his Rescuer. Thus, another fault with the question; holiness is not inherint to a race but a effective reflection of bestowed purpose. It serves goals not for the individual--for again its source is not the individual--but for the Quinternion; that is, to rid and protect the world from the demons of chaos. In this we see the perspicacity of the arcane nurtured in humans, the strength of body and will be granted to the Varath encouraged in the Chronicles, the cultivation of the natural world in melodic harmony demonstrated in Elvespians, the perseverance, and faith exhibited by the Stonehooves, and the mysterious of the deep protected and kept by the Swarmlings, as examples for which we are to strive in unity. One should then ask in what pursuits which are mandated to me may I best represent the holiness with which I have been gifted.
These strivings are external to one performing them, not rooted in any uniformity of race or creed, but serving the united purposes of the Quinternion. If Qor had seen fit to only rescue one of our peoples, would he not have done so? Verily I claim the Quinternion chose for its purpose exemplars for the ideals they willed to celebrate yet never intended them exclusive to those exemplars across the generations of their worshippers. It is a choice, granted to us, to choose to serve which of the Quinternion based on our own convictions and beliefs. I do not claim, as some have accused me, that one should worship the Quinternion as a whole; our frail mortality is best served in application to a singular set of ideals, and our Divine Judgement shall only see One representing us. Our enemies would like nothing more than for our discrepancies to enflame pride and entrench us in useless comparisons of worth rather than allowing our fellow man to complement our weakness with his strength.
Therefore, any attempt to promote a Varath above man, or Human above Elvespian, or any other kind of nonsense is nothing more than a defience of the mandates to which we are called. For the Divine Quinternion was created together, and rescued each of us together, and placed us in the lands together so that we may build one another up against the coming tides of evil for which we were destined and equipped to deafeat in glorification of those that saved us.
