Oleg Glasshammer
Oleg Glasshammer
Dwarf | Spelunker | Rogue/Wizard
Oleg Glasshammer was never meant for the clan vaults. While other dwarves measured worth in gold weight and gem cut, Oleg measured it in depth—how far down a tunnel went, how thin the air became, how strange the stone felt beneath his hands.
He trained as a scout and trap-breaker for his hold, learning to move quietly through old shafts and forgotten mines. In secret, he taught himself minor arcane tricks—light without flame, sigils to mark safe paths, and spells to shape stone just enough to squeeze through where others couldn’t. Not to steal, but to see what was there.
His mistake came during a solo survey beyond a collapsed lower mine. Chasing an uncharted cavern and convinced he could retrace his steps, Oleg pushed deeper than his maps allowed. A tremor sealed his return route, and the tunnels below twisted into something older, wider, and very much not dwarven.
Now lost in the Underdark, Oleg survives on confidence, cleverness, and curiosity. He marks walls with arcane glyphs instead of runes of claim, avoids fights he can’t win, and presses forward not because there is treasure ahead—but because there is something unknown.
He believes he’ll find his way back eventually.
And if not, he intends to at least know where he’s been.
