War of the Five Deserts
The War of the Five Deserts was an ancient conflict between the realms of Ejilarna (Empria), Safimir (Marsham), Shenerem, Terminar, and Maruva. This was a messy string of conflicts rather than a single war. While it had many motivating factors, the War of the Five Deserts can generally be understood as a conflict to control the dominant religion of Pratasam and to decide which state would stand as the true heirs of Lily of Red that would unite and dominate Western Samvara.
The War of the Five Deserts ended with no concrete victor, as the First Selkie Empire swept over all participants involved.
This is a very, very old war that is often understood in religious, mythic, or legendary terms.
