Primeval Awareness

Primeval Awareness is an ability known to Meako and some semi-druidic warriors, allowing them to detect certain 'favored enemy' types in their surrounding area. By spending a minute connecting to their surrounding area, they can detect creatures in the surrounding 5 mile radius.    This ability is known to be inconsistent and unreliable when handling common creature types, like 'animals' or 'humanoids', particularly in regions with significant habitation. Even sparsely populated rural farmland can throw the ability off when it comes to detecting humanoids - the ability works best with small groups. Generally, broader categories (like beast or humanoid) also tend to provide less useful information.    Rarer and more magical creature types, like Unwilling or Undead, are far more effectively detected by this ability. With such creatures, this ability can detect their number, their general direction, and their general types.    Potha Sarana has this ability and can now use it on the monsters of Safia the False Halcyon - making it much more potentially useful.
