Maze Gate
A Maze Gate is a magical portal to the Dream Labyrinth created by cultists empowered by Verkon, The False Chimera. Maze Gates consistently link to specific rooms in the Labyrinth and often have designated safe paths to other Maze Gates for cultists to quickly move around the world.
Maze Gates are created by some unknown magical rite and seem to destabilize the world around them. Presumably whatever process creates these Gates is costly, as each Gate uncovered by the God Squad has had some kind of harvesting apparatus fueled by captive people. The nature of these mechanisms was different in each case, though, and the full nature of them was unclear.
